How can I create an account?

An account is automatically created upon booking your first service. In order to create a MénageSimple’s account, click on this link.

Is your service available in my area?

Please check our map to find where we are available. Our service is continuously expanding and our cleaning ladies don’t mind driving few minutes further: let us know if you need a service outside of our service area.

What’s included in a standard service?

Our hourly tarif includes all services available in our platform, as long as the time booked is sufficient, excluding for guaranteed move out cleanings.

Our maids are trained to make your house as welcoming and warm as a 5 star hotel suite. Without specific instructions, our maids will give you everything you need to have a sparkling home.

Will you bring your own equipment to clean my home?

Our cleaners will bring all the necessary equipment. We ask your permission to use your vacuum and your iron.

Can I order some extra services?

It is possible at any time (even directly with the cleaning lady) to add “extra services” to your order.

Do you use green products?

The products our cleaning ladies provide are not only green but also, in the most part, natural.

Our products are made in Switzerland, according to the COD and OCDE 302 B standards with a CO2 measurement (report from EMPA 109423 B the 10.02.1992/27.08.2007).

Do I have to be home to welcome the cleaning lady?

There is no need to be home: the goal of our service is to save you time so you can take care of what really matters to you.

Some our clients even give us a copy of their key: we keep them very safely in a secret place.

What is included in our move-out services?

Our move-out service benefits you with a convenient flat pricing if the appartment will be empty at the moment of service (no fourniture) and if it was taken care of in the last 30 days before the service. If one of these conditions is not met, we can offer a personalized quote after receiving detailed pictures of the appartment.

Our cleaning ladies execute on each service a very detailed checklist with more than 180 points, that satisfies the toughest agencies and the landlords.

Our services include cleaning products and basic equipment: vacuum cleaner, broom, floorclothes etc.

We offer a 200% satisfaction guarantee program on all our end of lease cleanings.

If your oven has not been taken care of in months, we recommend using a cleaning mousse (that needs to stay in the oven for 24 hours) so that our cleaning lady won’t need to use a metallic sponge that might damage the oven.

We don’t include the following services:

  • Wall stains cleaning (cleaning products damage walls even more)
  • Parquet Sanding (this needs a special machine)
  • Waterjet/Powerwash cleaning (this kind of cleaning is advisable for external surfaces that agencies of owner might ask you to clean, it needs a special machine)

How can I trust you?

For MénageSimple, security is a uncompromising feature.

We select rigorously our cleaning ladies. All our teams are background checked and hold a series of in persion interviews and a meticulous training program. Out of this process, we select the best maids, that are guided in their initial work by a more experienced colleague. At the end of this process, less than 1% of the appliants are hired.

We also have an insurance with AXA that covers damages up to 10 millions CHF. The information you give us through our website are encrypted by a 256bit code and protected in a multi-layer VPN infrastructure.


What if I don’t like your cleaning?

Our customer support team is available 24/7, just let us know and we’ll make it right. MénageSimple always takes the cleint’s side: your satisfaction is our priority.

In fact, we are the only company that offers a 200% guarantee: if you are not satisfied with the cleaning, we will do it again. If you are still not happy, for whatever reason, we will redound your money.

Are my persona details (address, credit card etc.) protected?

Our platform disposes of a 3 levels security infrastructure.

First of all, the “Book now” page is protected by an extended validation SSL continuously checked by engineers at Launch27 and Stripe.

The booking form itself has it’s very own layer of 256 bit security. Another 256 bit layer is necessary for transaction to be processed through our third party partner Stripe, a multi-billion dollar company that made itself a name in cybersecurity.

All the information you leave on our website, even through the Live Chat, are encrypted by a 256 bit validation code and a VPN infrastructure.

Being able to surf the internet feeling safe is important.That’s why we constantly invest time and resources to offer the highest level of security possible.

MénageSimple is the only cleaning service to offer a 200% satisfaction guranteed.

Why 200%?

100%: if you are not happy with the cleaning, we’ll send in the next days another team to take care of your requests.

200%: if still you are not happy with our service, we will refund your money.

How can I cancel my request for a recurring cleaning?

Cancelling a cleaning is extremely simple: feel free to contact us or to use your MénageSimple’s account.

If you cancel your recurring cleaning request after the first cleaning, we will bill you the amount that was discounted on the first cleaning.

How can I change the credit card associated with my account?

You can use your MénageSimple’s account to change any information associated with your cleaning. Feel also free to contact us in case you need any help.

Can I cancel my booking?

You can alway cancel your booking for free as long as you do that 48 hours before it is supposed to happen. If you cancel within 48 hours, we will have to bill you 90 CHF for keeping one of our maids busy and unable to serve other clients. Cancellations within the same day are billed as much as the cleaning. Feel free to contact us to solve this kind of situations.

Can I cancel my recurring cleaning request?

You can cancel your request anytime, just give us at least 48 hours before the cleaning is supposed to happen.
